Hello,

I receive text errors on the Twitter.com webpage and only see a few bars / broken characters ex. here - http://i39.tinypic.com/34t4yma.jpg

However upon starting in safe-mode I do not receive the errors on the Twitter.com site ex. here - http://i41.tinypic.com/9ibl1s.jpg

This seems like the only site that has this main problem along with another few similar sites, has been like this for a couple of months.

Other Solutions I've tried:

-Created new Profile / result = same error

-Disabled all extensions/add-ons = same error

-Disabled Antivirus software?/ result = same error

-Start in Safe-Mode /result = fixed

How do I eliminate this problem without starting in safe-mode?

Twitter.com also works fine in other browsers.

Thanks

Hi,

Safe mode also disables hardware acceleration in addition to the installed Extensions, themes (Appearance). The hardware acceleration manual setting is in Tools (Alt + T) > Options > Advanced > General > Use hardware acceleration when available. You may have to restart after disabling/enabling the option. Options > Advanced

Perfect!

I unchecked/disabled * Hardware acceleration." and restarted the browser and now the website works fine.

Much thanks for the easy instructions and background information on the problem/safe-mode.

Best Wishes
