I've noticed that as certain websites have updated their FavIcons, the icon doesn't change in Firefox, but does change in Chrome (ex. HuffPost, LATimes, Chicago Tribune, Bloomberg, RollCall, WashingtonPost) Any idea why the icons aren't updating in Firefox? (Currently Using Firefox 10 with Windows 7, but this problem has existed for a couple versions of FF and also existed on my old system with Windows Vista). I've tried changing my theme from the Aurora Australis, to the Default, thinking the theme might be the issue, but no change. Also, I have had this problem both with a Dell XPS15 running Windows 7 and a Dell Inspiron 1420 running Windows 7. Also, to be more specific Firefox shows the new icon on the tab for the website while open, but doesn't change the icon in the bookmarks bar or in bookmarks. This is not a big issue, but a minor nuisance.

Favicons of bookmarks usually have a expiration date set and you may need to remove such a bookmark and re-add a new bookmark if the favicon doesn't get updated.
