When open a new tab, I want the home page to come up, but it's something else. How do I change this? Thanks!
If I click the + to open a tab, it comes up to a browser window that I don't want. I have changed the "home page" to what I do want, that didn't seem to work, even when I restarted Firefox.
How can I change the screen that comes up when I select a new tab? Many thanks in advance for your assistance!
Chosen solution
A new tab opens by default as a blank tab (about:blank).
If that isn't the case then an extension has changed that behavior.

There is an extension to do that -> https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/new-tab-homepage/

The whole new tab page is being redesigned - not sure when it is targeted for release.
