I've updated Firefox to 8.0 several days and everything was OK, but today I found out that form autocomplete doesn't work in google (it works on other sites though). I checked via Form History addon that form history hasn't been deleted, it's just form autocomplete that doesn't work. This happens both on my work and home computer. Starting FF in safe mode (with disabled extensions) doesn't help.

It works when disabling JavaScript. Or when using http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=0 URL. Kinda odd, but seems to be the google issue anyway.

The Google website is using autocomplete=off to prevent Firefox from saving form data. The http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=0 page doesn't have autocomplete=off

You can remove autocomplete=off with a bookmarklet if you really want to save data or you can use the form on the advanced search page.
