When I click on links to PDF files, I have to download them to disk, and then open them. They won't open automatically in Acrobat Viewer; the dialogs have no "Open" option, like they do with Word files. The PDF files DO automatically open in Acrobat when using Internet Explorer.

Every time Firefox opened

You have the Adobe Reader plug-in installed per the list of plug-ins at the bottom of your question (Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape "9.3.2").

So, check your settings for PDF files on Tools > Options > Applications. See: https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Options+window+-+Applications+panel http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing+file+types http://kb.mozillazine.org/File_types_and_download_actions
