Hi

Have you downloaded any large files recently?

more options

No large files. Mostly just browsing the web. Some videos. No downloads/nothing in downloads.

I have previously closed all tabs and deleted everything I could except the cookies. I don’t know what to do.

Now up to 4.76GB in Documents &Data.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Hi

Have you tried clearing your browsing history? This support article should help:

This did not solve my problem. Sorry. I’m still having same issue with documents & data storage.

Up to 4.88GB now

I even “offloaded” Firefox a few times, and then reinstalled

Documents & Data showed 5.19GB in Documents & Data after offloading

I experience a similar behavior. No large downloads. Clearing browser data does not seem to update the storage that iOS reports Firefox consuming.

To solve this, I delete and reinstall the entire application rather than offload. This works, but does require a few steps to re-initialize the account and set default browser. I went from 1.13GB to 114MB after reinstall.

A feature request: let the user set a maximum cache/file storage size so this does not get out of hand.

I deleted and reinstalled Firefox several times.

Currently, with all tabs closed and everything deleted (except cookies), I have 311.9 MB in Documents & Data. Keeps slowly creeping up.

I still don’t know what to do.

Hi aeverspm,

experiencing the same as well, only way to fix is uninstall and reinstall the app, we use it within our corporate iPad devices and I just saw two devices this morning with 41.04 & 57.82 GB respectively.

I have just created a thread as well to hopefully bring it to the attention of Mozilla.

I have this problem too. Every day it creeps up higher and higher. It takes up an inordinate amount of space in my Iphone storage. All i want to do is delete caches and cookies and it is impossible , except for “ private” few, whatever those are. In other ways it is a great , safe browser.

Thank you very very much, Firefox team. Issue finally seems to be resolved. I used to have Several gigabytes of data and documents. Now less than 200MB.

Thanks again!
