Synch from phone to new FF desktop?

When I got my Android phone, sync (from desktop to phone) worked nicely. My laptop was permanently damaged in a fire, and my latest backup of FF folders is two weeks old. (I'm guilty - I know!). Bookmarks still appear on my phone, including a few I added just hours before the fire. If I log into FF on the new desktop, will it pull all the bookmarks from the phone? Or will its brand new (and empty) bookmark file tell the phone to dump its bookmarks too?

In other words, who's in charge in a situation like this? The desktop or the phone?

I suggest you close the sync account from [v57+] Type https://accounts.firefox.com/settings<enter> in the address bar.

After, create a new sync account using the phone. If you don't, it is possible to lose the data.

After the sync is done, then add the new computer.
