Hi, is there an option to customize the Firefox installation in a way that would be Pre-configured with bookmarks in the created profile? we have about 50 workstations and it would be pretty tedious and inefficient.

What you could do is to create a master folder with all the data you want to be copied. Then copy that data when you want. A Windows batch program can do that for you.

You can also use sync as well. The benefit of sync is the data would be updated on the fly. The drawback is if the data is changed on one member of the sync, all members would be changed.

Note: If you like the sync idea, one thing you could do is to sync the data, but shutdown and remove the sync (including the password) before giving the profile to whoever.

I was talking about the files in the profile folder. Copy files you want to backup to another folder on your hard drive. Then, if something goes bad, you can copy the backup file back to the profile folder.
