I am using private browsing. I have turned off all tracking and history settings in my privacy setting, cleared history, cache and anything else I can find. Shut down the browser and even powered off and back on but the issue continues.

Are you sure that you are using Private Browsing mode? That information shouldn't be saved in Private Browsing, but it would be saved in regular browsing.

Regardless, that data can be removed a couple of ways.

If you want to just delete single items, you can press the arrow keys to highlight the one that you want to delete and then press the Delete button on your keyboard.

If you want to delete all of these items, you can clear them from the Firefox preferences page. In the Firefox preferences, go to the Privacy & Security section, scroll down to History and select the Clear History button. You specifically want to clear the Form & Search History.

If you want to stop Firefox from storing this information in the first place, in that same section of the Firefox preferences page, change the history options to Use custom settings for history and uncheck the Remember search and form history option.

Alternatively, you could check the Clear history when Firefox Developer Edition closes option and make sure that Firefox automatically clears the Form & Search History data using the Settings... button. This would clear that data each time that Firefox closes, but would keep the data for as long as Firefox is open so that you can still make use of that feature while using Firefox.

Hope this helps.

Did you save a password for that website?

Saved passwords are not cleared when the Private Browsing session is closed. See Password Manager - Remember, delete and edit logins and passwords in Firefox for information on how to remove saved passwords.

Hope this helps.

It is not passwords that I can not delete. It is the sight ID value like my internet sign on page is showing spell@netwizard.net and my accidentally enter password as another entry. That is why I'm trying to delete the stored values. I do not have this issue with explorer.

Thank you for the three options. The Second the third ways did not delete the sign on values for me. The first option of using the up and down arrows and delete key did delete the values I did not want saved or shown.

So thank you you all for responding and especially Wesley for providing a working solution.
