only have icons in bookmarks bar but no text

On my bookbars bar I can only get icons and since every icon is the same (and there is about 20-30 icons) its a bit much!! So is there anyway to force F-Fox to show some text?

Only an extension or possibly code in userChrome.css can hide the text.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
