no sound youtube only

until today I was able to hear sound on my youtube while using the firefox browser. I can watch videos from other sites with no problem with youtube I cannot hear anything. I've tried reinstalling firefox and adobe flash player and making sure they are both up to date but still no sound. I have also tried everything listed in your help forums. everything is up to date. Need help.
