Unable to download Fire Fox from Chrome.
I have tried to download FireFox while in Chrome. Chrome blocks it from downloading. I get the following message from Chrome: "FireFox Setup 43.0.1.exe Failed - Virus Scan Failed". I have tried downloading from 2 places: "Free Download" and from "Systems & Languages". How can I get around this problem ? I would kike to use Firefox as my default browser.

Sorry, but I did not have a chance to try safe mode until this morning. I regret to say that I got the same result - download terminated due to virus.cor-el said
As you already have Firefox 43 installed, did you try to update Firefox to the current release via "Help > About"? Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.
