Xfinity toolbar enabled but does not appear on screen

My Xfinity toolbar is enabled but does not appear on the screen. Have tried to disable it, remove it and add it back but no luck. There is a space for it above my Norton toolbar but it is only that -- space. How can I make it reappear?

Chosen solution

Problem was solved by downloading a new version of the toolbar from Comcast. They use to automatically update this toolbar but for some reason mine stopped being updated. But problem is now solved by this newer version, the toolbar is now visible on the screen.

Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Disable All of them.

I posted that because a number of issues have been caused by toolbars.

Type about:customizing<enter> in the address bar. In the new window, at the bottom left, press the Show / Hide Toolbars

Good to hear. Check the options for the toolbar on updates.

There are no options on updating for this toolbar. But that is OK since I now know to check for the latest update if I ever have another issue with it. Thanks for trying to be of assistance.

Whatever program put it in your system, get the full installer.

The installer came from Comcast (XFinity). It is the only one they offer you.
