Why does Tbird use a time different from my system's time?
Thunderbird is assigning a time to my received messages that is 8 hours later than the time in my operating system(which is correct). Why, and how to correct it?

The time on your system clock might be correct but I bet if you check you are on the wrong timezone.

Bingo. Hadn't thought of that. Thanks.
