trying to set up sync, the Mozilla button,upper left, does not show Sync Options
I printed instructions to set up a sync to my mobile phone. Can't get past first step: "At the upper left of the Firefox window, click the Firefox button and select "Set Up Sync." The button options are: restore, move, maximize, minimize and close." That appears to be the only Mozilla button at the top of the window.

hello, the firefox button will only be shown when you go to view > toolbars and hide the menubar. alternatively you can also go to tools > options > sync and start the setup from there...

You probably mean the article How do I set up Sync on my computer?
One thing, not evident right away, is that you need a desktop to set up the Sync account. You can not do it on your mobile phone.
Only after you have opened an account using a PC, you can add another device to sync to/with - see How do I add a device to Firefox Sync? for that
perfect answer to go to Tools instead of the illusiveFirefox button. thank you.
