Firefow will not let me open up www.us.army.mil keeps saying problem loading page

When ever I try to go to www.us.army.mil the following message appears.


The connection was interrupted


         The connection to www.us.army.mil was interrupted while the page was loading.       
 The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
   moments.
 If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
   connection.
 If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
   that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

No problems here with that site.


Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
