Firefox has no mono audio support.
This is an accessibility issue for those like myself who are totally deaf in one ear, right-left channel audio will be completely deafened on one channel.

Change accessibility.monoaudio.enable to true in about:config. Existing pages need to be refreshed for it to apply.
