I've deleted my prefs.js, refresh firefox, uninstall and install again, and uninstalled all my add-ons and still for some reason my downloads tab and whenever a pop-up style notification appears, the text is either blank or the same color as the background. I've changed themes and it is still the same.

That could be a problem with the Facebook Container 2.3.3 extension. If you have this extension, make sure to update to version 2.3.4.
