Thunderbird email browser password
I am wanting to set up a MIcrosoft Outlook IMAP account for my email address in order to access emails on other devices. I have forgotten my initial Thunderbird password and it does not appear in the list of saved passwords. Can this be retrieved or can it be re-set?

Why don't you simply generate a new app password as explained here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/using-app-passwords-with-apps-that-don-t-support-two-step-verification-5896ed9b-4263-e681-128a-a6f2979a7944 then use that in Thunderbird?
