Advertisements in outlook.com emails are suddenly playing sound in Firefox 56.0.2
The advertisements on the right side of my Hotmail/Outlook.com email windows have suddenly started auto-playing with sound when using Firefox browser 56.0.2. This just began today, 11-15-17. Sound does NOT automatically play on these ads when using Safari to access my email, however there appears to be a preference to disable that from happening in Safari (see attached screenshot).
The advertisements are extremely disrupting to my work, and I cannot find a setting or preference to disable the sound from auto-playing. Is there one? If not, there surely needs to be. My only recourse right now is to mute the sound altogether on the entire computer to prevent this huge annoyance from happening. Can anyone help me with this? Is this a bug I should report? Thank you.

Hello, install ublock origin or another adblocker to get rid of ads forever!
Thank you Mkll, I was thinking of doing that if there is no preference to disable the sound from auto-playing. I don't have any add-ons at present so I am not familiar with how they work. The web search for ublock origin won't load any content. It takes me to an empty page when I click on the link. The following ad blocker came up in a search so I might try it if there is no setting to disable the advertisement sounds: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/webmail-ad-blocker
Nice, that should work very well!
