Can't login to Firefox Sync, Error 500/Unexpected error

Came from the Dev edition, uninstalled and went back to Vanilla Firefox. I'm trying to log back in to Firefox Sync after refreshing the installation and I'm getting Unexpected Error when trying to login from https://accounts.firefox.com/signin?service=sync, Error 500 when logging in from the Sync tab in the about:preferences page.

I also tried doing what was listed in here (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1111360) but nothing seems to solve my problem. My current installation only has uBlock Origin and HTTPS Everywhere installed (recently refreshed).

about:sync-log doesn't show anything either. Anyone know how to fix this? (email/password removed from image)

I understand that there is a 500 error when trying to login to sync. If you have changed the password recently, then the profile information that was synced before will no longer sync to the newly installed profile.

If this is not the case, there seems to be an issue with there being no username in the previous issue. Since there are no logs on the new install/vanilla Firefox, are there any other devices that are connected? If so, the local data there will be preserved if you unattach each device, change the password and attach each device back to the sync account.

If not, now the confirmation of logging in has changed to an email notification, to confirm that your account is on the new sync do you receive the email confirmation if you add a new device to the account?
