Yes the shortcut used could be changed, or a similar result is obtained by setting Firefox to not remember history. It depends on your requirements. If I was doing that sort of thing I would probably at the moment set up separate Firefox profiles, one for private browsing and one for ordinary browsing. Basically you append a space and ''-private'' to one of the shortcuts used.
