I updated to Firefox 29 from 28-something (28.3, I think), and now my address bar on almost every page is showing a bizarre series of dingbats. They seem to overlap some of the in-address-bar "controls," and I can't click in the address bar to type.

If I open a NEW tab, I can type in the address bar there, and it will usually show up normally. Sometimes, though, after time these will "convert" to the dingbats, too.

I couldn't figure out how to attach an image to the original post. Here's what I'm seeing.

That was, indeed, the problem, thanks! (Somewhat unfortunate, though. I USE that extension's functionality - all. the. time.)

That's a reported problem here. We don't know why it does that either. You can bug the developer or see if they have any updates from addons.mozilla.org.

haha Sorry! I'll have to remember to sign my name in the future! Most folks on message boards just call me a2jc or a2j 'cause it's quicker.
