Firefox 3.6.8, Windows 7. Cookies just stopped working (could have been after a FF upgrade). The cookies show up in Tools-Options-Privacy (Show Cookies), but they do not work when I browse to a site that has stored a cookie (eg, a bank number). Other examples, gmail and hotmail did not remember my email address for login (it does now that I've re-entered it)

I'm the submitter of the problem. Here's what I think has happened. I also bought a new computer (Win 7, old machine was XP). It could be that the sites (some were usernames of sites I visit...not logins) were programmed to see the cookie from the original MAC address'ed machine, ignored or erased the cookie.
