.aspx is just a file extension for an ASP.NET web application file.

Can we see the web site you are trying to use? I am assuming you want to open an Adobe PDF from this site. What happens when you try to open it?

It does look like you've got the PDF plug-in.

Attached is a screenshot of what I'm trying to open and the error msg I get. However, in IE it either opens up or I can save it to my desktop. But to open it from the desktop, I need to right-click, open with, Adobe Reader and it opens right up.

What kind of problems do you have?

  • "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
  • "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
