Advice please for correcting this problem. It started happening about two months ago. Typical failure message received after about 30 hours:

     This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

Delivery to the following recipients failed permanently:

  * m.born@btinternet.com

Reason: There was an error while attempting to deliver your message with [Subject: "Fwd: xxxxxxxxxxxx"] to xxxxxxx@btinternet.com. It has been in queue too long, and will not attempt delivery again.

Does the email address m.born@btinternet.com exist? Could the account be full? Either way btinternet is not accepting more mail for that address from secureserver.net, so I am guessing you are using your hosting providers mail server.

This is nothing to do with Thunderbird.

There are several valid btinternet.com addresses involved, for all of which I suffer from this problem but not if sent from my gmail address rather than my normal Email address.

As I said before BT is refusing mail from your hosting provider (secureserver.net is operated by godaddy), if the addresses are valid I suggest you ask them what the problem is.
