Moving my Thundeird to a new PC worked fine for the folders, but the sub-folders "did not get on the bus" so to speak. As I have several thousand emails to move, I think I can create additional non duplicated named folders and move the sub folder emails into the new folders. But I thought that there would be an easier method. Any assistance/guidance would be appreciated Many thanks, kind reagrds Stuart

PS. Happy New Year

Just go back to your original and make a new copy and verify the copy contains all the sub folders and their contents. Right clicking the folders of both you can select properties in Windows file explorer and it will tell you the number of files and folders in each so you can verify you have it all.

Repeat on your new install just to make sure they are not there and if not then copy them in. This will replace any mail that has been downloaded since the copy, so the sooner you do it the less likely permanent loss of mail is.
