Firefox stores passwords in a file in your Firefox profile (settings) folder and does not coordinate with the system keychain. There might be an add-on which offers that functionality, but of course, be careful in who you trust with your passwords.

Firefox stores passwords in a file in your Firefox profile (settings) folder and does not coordinate with the system keychain. There might be an add-on which offers that functionality, but of course, be careful in who you trust with your passwords.
