All my mail (using BT as my provider) appears on my Galaxy S5 phone. But if I reply from my phone that reply doesn't get into the 'sent' box on my Windows laptop. Similary with mail I delete from my laptop, that remains on my Galaxy.

On the other hand my Gmail a/c works better in that if I delete a mail on my laptop it's deleted from the Galaxy but not the other way round.

I'd be very grateful if anyone has ideas about what is going on and how to solve this problem.......if there is a solution.

Many thanks.

Joe

Sounds like your laptop has your email account set up as POP and not IMAP. In order for all folders to remain in sync across various devices you have to have an email account that is setup as IMAP as well as having the email account setup in your email clients as IMAP on all devices.

Thanks Airmail and apologies for the delay, been away for a couple of days. I'll have a look at the settings on both phone and laptop and maybe I could get back to you if neither are pop. Many thanks again. Joe
