I recently got Mozilla and all of my emails were transferred from outlook. this included subfolders. These were all fine, but now only the sunfolders that have the titles in bold letters are showing any content. Why are some in bold and others not, and why are they the only ones showing content?

Bold font usually indicates there are unread messages in the folder.

You can set Thunderbird to show only the unread messages in a folder; there might be multiple ways to do that. One is to use the Quick Filter bar. This article describes where to check if that is the cause of only seeing unread messages: Quick Filter Toolbar. Is that the problem?

This doesn't seem to be it. Most of my subfolders have read and unread messages in them. The title is what is bold for the ones that do have content. The others are completely empty.

If you go to the Menu bar and select View-Threads is it set to ALL?

Do you have any add ons installed? If so, go to the Help menu and select Restart with add ons disabled to see if you have an add on misbehaving.

I don't have any add ons either. Thank for trying to help. This is so frustrating. It's all of my work correspondence over the past four years.

Check the following View menu (Alt+V) > folders > All View menu (Alt+V) > Threads > All

Thank you. I tried both, they are set to all.

try changing the view > threads to unread and back to all.

Thank you, I tried that and it still isn't working. It's as iff they have all vanished.
