when I input a website, especially from Google, before my requested website loads, another website is loaded--one for advertising other websites, etc. In order to get to the one that I input, I have to backspace (using arrow by website line) then actually hit enter on my keyboard. I thought it was some sort of Mal-ware, but have cleaned that up, but it is still doing this--it's driving me nuts!

Do a malware check with some malware scan programs. You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.

Thanks, Swarnava, I did a "sweep" for malware and it apparently solved my problem!
