FF 4 on MacBook doesnt retain app tabs on restart- is this normal?

Each time I restart FF 4 all the app tabs have disappeared and I have to recreate them. Is there a way to make sure they stay pinned?

App tabs and Tab Groups (Panorama) are stored as part of the session data in the file sessionstore.js in the Firefox Profile Folder

Make sure that you do not use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox to clear the "Browsing History"
