Tab Focus is Backwards

I have had FF set up to open new tabs in background. Now with v4, it says in Options --> Tabs, "When I open a link in a new tab, open it immediately." I had it UNCHECKED (from the upgrade), and it opened a tab with focus. I CHECKED it then, and it opened the tab in the background.

Did you try to close and restart Firefox after making the change?

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
