The web site my friends and I use for trading on the stock market has drop down menus where we can check our watchlists, make purchases, sales and so on. It is a secure website and thus password protected. When using previous versions, it ran smooth as clockwork. However, after downloading 3.16.13, all the drop down menus within the web site don't work anymore. Now, some of us use IE and others use Chrome to access the web site and none face this problem. Is there any way this can be resolved? We trust Firefox more than the rest so it's a pity this happens.

  • "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
  • "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
