I have a backup inbox in local folders (in Windows 11 Pro) that all incoming messages are copied to. For the first time today none of the messages show up in the viewing pane and the Location field is empty in the folder properties. All other local folders are fine. How do I restore the location to that field? Thank you. LR

Yes, tried both. Interestingly, the problem was resolved by renaming the Backup Inbox (to "Backup Inbox 2" for example)by simply right clicking on the folder on the main thunderbird interface. Not sure why, and if you change the name back to Backup Inbox the messages disappear. Odd, but working.

have you tried restarting Thunderbird? or the computer. I would recommend both.
