Concerned about logins and passwords being easily accessible to anyone seeing my screen.

Hi, I'm a new user of Firefox and I've searched for the answers to my queries but haven't found them. They are: 1) I'm confused by the fact that once I open the Firefox browser with a couple of clicks anyone can see my logins and passwords on the screen. Google Chrome requests my password or webcam facial id before showing them on its browser which seems much safer. How do I stop such easy access to my logins and passwords?

2) I signed up for an account but can't see how I can log out of my account! Please explain. Is the only option to delete my account?

3) Is it possible to have a Firefox account and use the browser without signing in?

Thank you in advance for your time.

  1. Try to enter about:config in the URL bar and set signon.management.page.os-auth.enabled = true.
  2.  ??? Options -> Sync -> Log out
  3. Yes of course.

As I can't see how to edit my question I'll reply to my post that I've solved (2) and I have found how to sign out of my account and have done so. Still signed in to Support.
