Trying to forward email from a second account to Thunderbird and followed the instructions for doing so: file/new/existing email account, and put in the name, email, and password. Thunderbird shows the Incoming IMAP and Outgoing SMTP, just like the other account. I click done and get the dialog box "Incoming server already exists."

Then Thunderbird asks for the password when I try to get the emails. The password I was given for the other account isn't being accepted, nor can I change the password. I'm just trying to get two email accounts visible through Thunderbird. Thank you.

Make sure the account name is unique.
