In the Privacy & Security pane we have the following configuration

Clear history when Firefox closes with all items selected except for Site Settings. Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed with some exceptions in Manage Exceptions.

But after quitting and re-launching Firefox there frequently entries for random websites shown in the "Manage Data..." pane.

This seems to related to having Facebook Container and Firefox Multi-Account Containers extensions installed. It does not seem to happen when they are not present. Interestingly. we had been using a a very similar Firefox configuration on a legacy Intel macOS system without this issue. We began seeing it while setting-up a fresh installation of Firefox on a new Apple Silicon system with macOS Ventura. The issue was reproduced in a new profile. It continues to the present day with up the current version of Firefox 129.01 on macOS 14.6.1 I feel like this is probably a bug but I don't have the necessary skill to make an effective bug report.

Whenever I type youtube.com into the search bar and hit enter, it says it crashed and i can't get in. Here are all my crash id's by the way

I cannot disable or delete the two websites that appear in my Autoplay list under Settings. I've tried everything but when I reopen the window, they still have permission to "Allow Audio and Video". Why can't I disable this?

For months I have been unable to load the Google Meet website in Firefox. I keep my browser up-to-date and have tried different privacy settings, container tabs, etc. Every time I go to meet.google.come, I end up in a redirect loop pointing me to https://meet.app.goo.gl/?link=https://meet.google.com/&apn=com.google.android.apps.tachyon&ibi=com.google.Tachyon&efr=1&ifl=https://meet.google.com/about instead. Clearing cookies and such seems to fix it, until I log back into my Google accounts and the problem starts happening again. Any ideas how to fix this?

Hello. Periodically I need to connect to my employer's VPN. Whenever I do, all of the open tabs in Firefox will not refresh or connect to new websites. This is especially troublesome for pages that refresh periodically like when viewing email. New tabs open webpages fine. I have tried using a "hard reload" (Shift while using the Reload button) on the already-open tabs as well as clearing the cache through the Settings menu. I've also tried changing the proxy settings in Network settings (Configure Proxy Access to the Internet; No proxy, Auto-detect proxy settings for this network, Use system proxy settings, Manual proxy configuration)

Any ideas on how to prevent this problem in the first place or fix it when it happens?

When i try log into office.com for example i get the attached error, i have troubleshot with MS support, they cannot resolve it, the websites works on newly installed browsers, but the two installed browsers, safari and mozilla do not work, cleared cache, history etc and also reinstalled, no luck, please advise re the issue happening on firefox and if you can resolve it we will contact apple for the safari issue

ms believe it is a browser problem which it could be but two browsers stopped working at the same time and only newly installed browsers that have never been on the mahcine work, reinstalled old browsers do not work

Forming paragraphs with left hand margin in block form. Whenever I type an outgoing message, the left hand margin gets chopped up. I want the margin to always be in "block" form, in the same manner as this paragraph, where the left-side margin sentence structure matches up. Right now, the computer is making the left hand margin non-existent.

I want outgoing messages to display as block form on the left side. It now ends up being chopped up with no particular margination. I have no idea where to go to choose this option.

I got a new Macbook Pro recently and set it up by basically copying my iMac onto it. All works great. Except that the MBP doesn't show up with it's synced open taps on my iMac or my iphone. The iMac doens't show up on the MBP either.

Have I maybe copied some setting that makes the two machines (iMAc and MBP) thinkt they're one and the same? How can I "separate" the devices so that they show up in each other's Synced Tabs lists, respectively?

I was a dumbass and clicked the "Do not ask me again" checkbox for a website setting that I definitely need to be asked each time I try to delete something. How do I go back and undo that?

Hey! In order to improve my workflow on MacOS which has menu bar item search (through the "Help" menu item or through external programs), I want to be able to add custom items to the list of menu items.

Some of the things I'm missing from other browsers: - Pin tab item in menu bar - Search open tabs in menu bar

I am aware that keyboard shortcuts exist, but I'm leaning more towards a command palette for my workflow.

I am having a problem with requesting information by clicking on a word or a number as follows:

When I am in Firefox and checking my email messages, I often click on a word or a number to get additional information. That has always worked until today. Now when I click on a word or number, I get the following message instead of an address: https://1t1dhxtkug.execute-api.us-east-2.amazonaws.com How do I get rid of this response? I have two Firefox windows open, one on my Macbook Pro and one on my external monitor. When I click a link in Obsidian, Firefox always opens it in the laptop's window. Is there a way to configure Obsidian (or maybe Firefox) so that links open in the Firefox window on my external monitor?

How do I designate StartPage as my search engine in Firefox. I found no place in Firefox Settings to choose a search engine other that your select few. For many years I have been able to do this in previous installations.

I'm using a macbook air, and I was trying to use the fingerprint login thing, when instead of unlocking my puter it shut down the whole thing and it started to make very loud fan noises. I waited a few minutes for it to stop, then got back on, and my bookmarks and saved passwords were deleted from firefox. No passwords or logins were reset on any other applications. This is very alarming since I had just made an email and some accounts to manage some event I'm holding, and now the password I trusted to firefox is lost. I need this password, as otherwise I cannot log into my email since I hadn't time to set up recovery measures (I have tried to recover it, but there's insufficient evidence for google that I own the account :/ ).

I tried looking through my browsing history for anything helpful, but everything was deleted from there as well. I also was not logged into my Mozilla account at the time either, so I am really in some sort of predicament here, , I'd appreciate any advice and ideas here!!

A white horizontal line in the top of the screen, whilst watching movies in tv5mondeplus.com. This issue happens when installed the recent update 129.0.

Tested in other browsers and doesn't appear the white horizontal line on top.
