when I have many tabs open, the button "open new tab" disappears. Is this a bug?

At the right end of all the tabs there is a button "+" that opens a new tab when clicked. Once I have more tabs than my screen can show this button changes in a scroll button ">" and the "+" button disappears...

That shouldn't happen. In that case you should see a New Tab button at the far right instead of to the right of the last tab unless you made changes to the toolbar customization.
