Hello All, Firefox 36x in unresponsive when logged onto the New beta of Yahoo mail. It hangs up when scrolling through the in box or when attempting to view new mail. The normal version of Yahoo mail works great when using Internet Explorer 8.x. I have uninstalled most of the add-on's but so far the browser is slow to completely unresponsive. In addition, when visiting select web sites the browser also runs slow.

I resolved it by changing my cache size. When I looked at my cache, it had 1GB of data. Mozilla used to set a default of 50mb but I saw the default was not set. Go to Tools > Options > Advanced > Network. Check "Override automatic cache management" and put in 50 (or whatever you want) in the "Limit cache to" box.

(Changing cache size does not resolve this for me.) To me, the problem appears to be specific for Windows 7, 64-bit? I do not have the problem on my old Windows XP (tested again today).
