Trying to add Firefox. Says my account is verified but I need to sync to another device to complete the process. I don't have another device. Can't find an only one device option. How do I get around this?

Sync is optional. You can close the tab once you have created the Sync account if you do not want or can't add a mobile device.

What is your usage for Sync ?

Note that Sync isn't designed to be used as a backup, but is merely meant to Sync data between connected devices.
