Ive been trying to run firefox on my android 7.1 AGM X2 "rugged" phone since I got it in January. Every time I try use it it starts, loads the first page but then crashes very soon after. This happens with all of the different versions of firefox in the play store (firefox, beta and nightly) but not focus.

I undersand there has been another thread on this problem with the poster creating a fix themselves. I have neither the time nor knowledge to do this. The thread is now listed as solved however although it has been solved for this one particular person the bug remains a problem for those without the ability to fix it.

Previous thread: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1205702

Bugzilla thread and report: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1373964

When do you foresee this being fixed? It is incredibly frustrating having come from an older phone making full use of firefox with the integration on my laptop to now using different browsers again.

Thanks

Jack

Hi

Thank you for your question and for providing those links. It looks like this issue has visibility with members of the development team and they will hopefully be able to fix this very soon.
