when I sign into Goog/setting/2 step, the page does not show "app passwords." I've turned off my ad-blocker extensions and pop-up blocker on the page. See attached.

More than half of the websites are broken when viewed in Firefox now E.g. theguardian, youtube. It takes way too long to load and most of the time it's only part of the page. The same websites work on Chrome and Edge without any issue.

And then I try to upload screenshots (.JPG) to this form and it doesn't work?

   For the past many months (possibly a year), the mobile to  desk top view setting never stays ON as default. If I leave my email page (while in desk top view), go to another tab & come back even 2 mins later, my email's right back to the mobile view again!
   I've even tried to switch the setting (in the menu) back to mobile view to reset it, but it just won't reset. The desk top view icon stays turned on & won't turn off, however, the site stays in mobile view.
   The only way I can reset this & turn the desk top view back on, is to close out my email & reopen it, then tap the setting back on again (& just don't leave the tab)!
   I have searched "high n low, everywhere" for help on this issue for a long time, however, not even on the FF site, can I find ANY article what so ever about this setting! And yes I "have" cleaned out cache, uninstalled, reinstalled etc...
   I do believe I have sent in a few support requests in the past (don't recall where or how lol), but never get a reply. I also remember being directed to the "submit a bug report" page but, haha, yeah, I have no idea how to do that, it all looks very foreign to me lol! 
   Is there any way for this to be fixed in an update, or even on my end? Are any others having this issue...?

   I would greatly & sincerely appreciate any help if possible?!

When using amazon the login and page load times are excessively long. More often than not I can open MSN, load amazon, login, and find what I'm looking for before Firefox has completed signing me in or searching for an item. This is not a once in a while problem, it happens every time with amazon, some times worse than other times. Ive deleted and reloaded Firefox, cleared all history and tried as many other things that I could find online to try, none of which helped.

I have recently been getting an error message when I open Firefox saying "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem". This has been happening since I clicked on a mail in Mail to unsubscribe from a spam/phishing mail list, which seemed to result in me installing Firefox Private Browsing, which I had never subscribed to. I have tried uninstalling Private Browsing but there is no way of doing that. I have even uninstalled and then re-installed Firefox completely but I still have the same problem. Because of the problem I have now lost all my bookmarks and history, and am unable to create new bookmarks and history. I have been on the help forums and seen that I can Disable Private Browsing by going through my anti-virus (Avast), which I have not yet tried because what I would really like to achieve is uninstalling and not having Private Browsing on my Start menu, rather than simply disabling it. Anyway, would disabling it solve the bookmarks and history problem ? Can anyone give me the solution ? Thanks. As you may gather, I am not very techno so you would have to give me the idiot's version of any instructions or advice.

I would like to further secure my passwords but don't want to have to enter the primary password every time I start the browser. I would like it to only prompt me if a password is needed. I can go days without needing a password to be entered and open and close Firefox every time I use it. It gets tedious. Thanks!

The settings window opens automatically when auto fill is used. Each time I click on the pre-fill bar on a webpage, the settings window/menu opens automatically. How do I stop this from happening? (but continue using auto fill). Thank you

When ever I play a game, the video I have playing (yes I need that stimulation) all of a sudden just freezes I can hear the audio but the video just freezes unless I click back onto the browser

For the last few weeks i've noticed youtube vids buffer but then sometimes stop and when the video reaches that point on the bar it skips about 5-10 seconds, then contines to buffer like normal, so I have to use the arrow keys to go back to see what I missed. It is very annoying. Happens almost 1-2 every day at random times. My wifi speed is good. I've cleared cookies and caches, turned off enhanced tracking protection for youtube, i've even increased perfomance settings for intel graphics in my pc's power manegment plan. Nothing! Can anyone help, thanks.

Able to access site on MS Edge using same pwd and user ID

Upgrade my desktop Firefox browser to version 126.0.1 a few days ago.

Since then, I'm having all kinds of probs logging in to social media sites.

The biggest prob is with X. I've tried to inquire about this situation with X support. I'm being told that my account is good and I should not be having log-in probs. When I explain that I'm being given an authentication challenge that is not allowing me in - despite the fact that the challenge is cleared - I'm told that I should consider my browser privacy settings.

Nothing has changed with this since my last log-ins except the upgrade for Firefox.

Please advise regarding this inquiry: is there something new in the privacy issues with this new upgrade? And how can this issue be resolved?

Every time I attempt to download a file today, no matter what it is or where it's from, it pops up saying that the download failed immediately. I can download through Edge or other browsers, just not Firefox (or any Firefox offshoots like LibreWolf). Not sure what's causing it, I've run a whole gambit of troubleshooting options, including:

• Checking my connection
• Checking my drive's space (plenty)
• Changing the download path
• Reset the download folder in about:config
• Rebooting my computer
• Clearing my downloads
• Trying a new profile
• Run a MalwareBytes scan
• Closed MalwareBytes and turned off my firewall
• Ensured OneDrive is disabled
• Refreshed Firefox
• Did a clean install

Nothing works. The only thing I found that gives me any kind of clue is this error message in my about:support: ""NotAllowedError: Could not create unique file in `C:\Users\[my name redacted]\AppData\Local\Temp' (NS_ERROR_FILE_ACCESS_DENIED"" It seems like Firefox is trying to write to Temp and can't get the permissions, but I'm not sure why that would be or how to fix it. I have tried googling my butt off, but I'm not finding anything helpful - I may just be blind.

If anyone has any idea how to fix this, it'd be much appreciated!

i updated my browser and now everything is gone, my extentions wont open as its in "safe mode", none of my browsing history is saved anymore. should I delete firefox and reinstall it?

When i scroll up and down on a page, it instead provides the back-page instead of scrolling up and down on the website. this is for all websites. the scroll function works oroperly in system settings, it is only with firefox. autoscrolling is enabled in settings.

I have issues since a few months that Firefox loads website only when I actively click on the app and put in foreground. Then the tabs start loading. Why is that?

After startup of Windows 10, I usually run a little batch script of mine starting various applications such as Outlook, Notepad++ etc, including Firefox along with my favourite websites, just like this:

So Firefox loads and opens all the tabs in the background, while other apps such as Outlook or Notepad++ come in the foreground. I read mails etc. before I decide to check e.g. Wikipedia. So it might take 5 minutes after Firefox got opened before I actively put it in the foreground. THEN I see no websites got loaded, and THEN Firefox starts to load the websites, which then takes the normal amount of time of a few seconds.

I wonder why Firefox does not load all my requested websites directly after start in the background.

An annoying side effect is, when still in Outlook and clicking on a website link in an email, it won't open in Firefox, most likely due to that reason that Firefox still waits for all the other websites to load. I need to put it into foreground, wait for the loading process to complete, and then go back to the email and click on the link again.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
