Just updated and Firefox now hangs with not responding message

I logged in this morning and saw an updating message. Then the program just hangs. The LA times is my opening page and there is a note in the bottom left corner saying "Transferring data from b.scorecardresearch.com..."

I have tried a few times and it always hangs.

Soluzione scelta

I had seen this page already and it didn't help.

The problem sorted itself when I left Firefox running, and internally it realized it had stopped working, and shut itself down. When I restarted, the problem seemed to have sorted itself.

I had tried shutting it down before and closing it through Task manager and it never sorted itself out. But when it closed by itself, it sorted the problem.

The problem sorted itself when I left Firefox running, and internally it realized it had stopped working, and shut itself down. When I restarted, the problem seemed to have sorted itself.

I had tried shutting it down before and closing it through Task manager and it never sorted itself out. But when it closed by itself, it sorted the problem.
