Hello dame11, try to boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) and then see if firefox works.

(if firefox works without problem in windows safe mode then probably the issue is in your security software(firewall, antivirus etc). Remove all rules for Firefox and plugin-container from the firewall permissions list and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process).

thank you

Hello ideato,

Thank you for a quick response!

I am currently replying from Safe Mode with networking and Firefox still won't start. However this did also fix my problem with Google Chrome not working with certain web elements. It would constantly Aw, Snap when using Gmail and Youtube, but in Safe Mode it works. I will have to try and see what the problem is there.

Otherwise Firefox is still not working.

Thank you.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
