I right click to save a picture (jpeg) on a web page and get a pop-up saying "(filename) class not registered. I an using Firefox on a Windows 7 Home Premium Version 6.1,7601 SP 1 Build 7601 -- hp Pavillion g7 notebook.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Hey...thanks a lot for your help,,,that wasn't the fix, though...I think that Bill Gates screwed my registry or somethin' when a pop-up for office install happened while I was deleting games from my laptop...I believe I'll just un-install and re-install Firefox...Thanx again!!!
