I need to run both Firefox 3 and Firefox 4, how do I do that?

more options

I do web coding (html/css) and need to be able to test in both versions of Firefox.

When I installed 4 it rendered 3 non working even though I installed in a new folder.

Is there any way to run both versions?

I'm ready for the pain. What's the answer?

Most of the answer is here: http://www.thewindowsclub.com/how-to-run-firefox-3-and-firefox-4-simultaneously-in-windows

But I did need to reinstall FF3.6 after I set everything up.

For my own sanity, I created desktop shortcuts with different icons.

I have not tried to open both at the same time as I have no need to do so.

Hope that helps.

If you don't need to run both versions simultaneously see this for a more simple way.
