You can open the about:config page via the location bar and do a search for that search engine URL via the Filter at the top of that page.
You can reset all related prefs via the right-click context menu to their default values.

Did you check the installed search engines? You can right-click the textarea of the search bar and open "Manage Search Engines" to see the list of currently installed search engines.

Which URL opens if you would do such a search?

If you filter for browser.search on the about:config, are there any bold (user set) prefs that link to search engines?

Do you have search engines installed that looks like that website (Softonic-Eng7)?

You can click the search engine icon on the (Google) search bar and open "Manage Search Engines" to see the list of currently installed search engines.

Which site opens if you do a search with that search engine?
Did you look for that URL on the about:config page?

Are there any bold (user set) prefs if you use browser.search in the Filter on the about:config page that link to search engines?

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

you're a star !, its sorted, I had lots of search engines including Softronic-Eng7 listed in the Google search bar, so I deleted all but Google.
