got a message: "It works! This is the default web page for this server. The web server software is running but no content has been added, yet."
It just started yesterday. When I try to go to www.google.com I get a message: "It works! This is the default web page for this server. The web server software is running but no content has been added, yet." If I try google from IE - no problems. If I try google search from the search bar in Firefox - again no problems. Only when I type www.google.com I get the message. My PC is running Vista Home Premium and Firefox is 3.16.13 Thanks for helping

There have been more reports lately about problems with accessing Google that seems to be caused by DNS resolve problems with your ISP.
You can try to contact your ISP or to set a different DNS server if the problem persists.

- "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
- "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Yes, but why does it happen only with Firefox and not with Internet Explorer?
Shift+Reload fixed the problem
I have also this kind of a problem with firefox, except IE gives same message if i open www.google.com: "It works! This is the default web page for this server. The web server software is running but no content has been added yet."
