I had successfully been interacting with bonanza.com using the latest version of Firefox for Windows. Note: I have reported this to bonanza support and they said all is fine at their end. So I want to make sure that I don't have a configuration issue. Yesterday I defragged the hard disk and rebooted. I clear FF cache, download history, and active logins. This morning, I uninstalled FF3.6.12 and downloaded it & reinstalled it as a precaution. The only other browser I have on this old PC is IE6. It hangs up completely on the same web site.

For the past week, I can log on to bonanza.com, do a few things on there, and then I get this error:

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit cookie....... Apache/2.2.9 (Debian) Phusion_Passenger/2.2.4 mod_ssl/2.2.9 OpenSSL/0.9.8g Server at bonanzle.com Port 80

  • "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
  • "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
